Chapter 7
Reflections in the Seams
Mary reflects on the whirlwind event, grateful for the magic of creativity and the unwavering support of her pets and her fairy friends. Her dream feels closer than ever.
The morning after the show dawned with a gentle, golden light filtering through the large windows of my shop, painting stripes across the polished wooden floor. It felt like a dream, a beautiful, shimmering dream that I was still half-afraid would vanish with the full light of day. He responded with a happy sigh and a lick to my chin. Snowy let out a soft meow, a gentle reminder that she too deserved some attention. I walked over and stroked her silken fur, her purr rumbling like a tiny, contented engine. Starry, sensing the commotion, stirred and stretched, a tiny yawn revealing her pink tongue before she trotted over, weaving between my legs, her tail a question mark in the air.
