The air at the Billboard Music Awards buzzed with an electric current, a symphony of flashing lights and excited chatter. Mary Sweetie, her heart thrumming a nervous rhythm against her ribs, clutched the microphone, her purple dress shimmering under the glare. Beside her stood Usher, his smile warm and reassuring, and then, impossibly, Justin Bieber. He looked just as she remembered from her childhood dreams, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he spoke. Mary, usually so articulate when discussing fabrics and silhouettes, found herself momentarily speechless, a blush creeping up her neck. Usher, ever the professional, gently prompted her, "So, Mary, you've got a keen eye for style. What’s your take on Justin's look tonight?" Mary finally found her voice, a little shaky but clear. "Justin, your suit is impeccable," she began, her gaze sweeping over his ensemble, "the tailoring is sharp, and the deep is cool. Mary said "So, well, Justin is 18 years old, what are you so proud of me?".
