The air in Mary's shop crackled not with excitement, but with a tense, unsettled quiet. Lucy and Rosy, their faces contorted with a mixture of shame and defiance, stood before Mary, the lingering scent of their failed sabotage still clinging to the room like a bad perfume. The Fairies, Shimmer, Shine, and Sweetie, hovered near Mary, their tiny forms radiating a soft, supportive glow. Even Snowy and Starry seemed to sense the gravity of the moment, their usual playful energy subdued, their gazes fixed on the two young women. Mickey, however, remained blissfully unaware, chewing contentedly on a discarded ribbon.

Mary took a deep breath, her long black hair falling over her shoulders like a silken curtain. Her black eyes, usually alight with creative fire, held a steady, firm resolve. She had faced down disaster, embraced magic, and now, she had to address this. "Lucy, Rosy," she began, her voice calm but carrying an undeniable authority, "what you did was not only wrong, it was deeply hurtful. You tried to steal not just my show, but my dream."

Lucy flushed, her gaze dropping to the polished wooden floor. Rosy, however, met Mary's eyes, a flicker of something unreadable in her own. "We… we were jealous, Mary," Rosy stammered, her voice barely a whisper. "You have so much talent, and everyone was talking about you. We just… we wanted that attention too."
