The air in Cousin Thomas’s garden was thick with the scent of roses, a perfume so rich it felt like a secret whispered on the breeze. Elara traced the velvety petal of a crimson bloom, its fragility mirroring the delicate threads of her own unfolding story. Just days ago, she had been a girl on the cusp of a mystery, a melody yearning for its missing harmony.
