The train chugged to a halt with a sigh of steam, the brakes groaning as if protesting the end of their journey. Amelia peered through the grimy window, her breath misting the glass. Outside, a scene unfolded that was plucked straight from a storybook. Willow Creek. The name itself sounded like a gentle melody. Cobblestone streets, their edges softened by time, wound their way between cottages with thatched roofs and window boxes overflowing with vibrant geraniums.
