Chapter 20
Dawn Over Kalagi
Lumu begins his term, working with Elder Maeve and Kael to implement his vision for rebuilding and progress. The island looks towards the future with hope, inspired by their new, proven leader.

Lumu accepted a bird, turning the smooth wood in his massive hand. "Thank you, Elder Maeve. They are perfect." He looked at her, his eyes reflecting the nascent sunlight. "The people are weary, but they are not broken."
