Chapter 14
Kael's Resilience
Kael works tirelessly alongside Lumu, helping to rebuild homes and community structures. Despite personal loss, he remains a pillar of strength for the islanders, inspiring them with his dedication.
The air still carried the damp, earthy tang of recent devastation, a constant reminder of the storm's brutal passage. Yet, amidst the splintered wood and scattered debris, a different kind of energy was beginning to stir on Kalagi. It was the hum of rebuilding, the determined clatter of hammers, the steady rhythm of hands working in unison. And at the heart of this burgeoning resurgence was Kael, his massive frame a familiar and comforting sight as he moved through the makeshift camps.

"Lumu says we need more of these," Kael grunted, nodding towards a stack of sturdy planks. His voice, usually boisterous, was a little rough around the edges, but his eyes, sharp and focused, missed nothing. He was directing a small group of islanders, some of whom were still dazed by the ordeal, their faces etched with a profound weariness.
