Chapter 5
The Scientist's Strange Solution
Enter Dr. Sparkle, the eccentric scientist behind the volatile glitter. They offer Elara a bizarre antidote, but it requires a very specific, rather dull, ingredient: the winner of the 'Most Mundane Vegetable' competition.

Elara, still trying to scrub glitter from her eyebrows, peered around the wreckage of her once-cozy establishment. They were dressed in a lab coat that had seen better decades, adorned with more pockets than a tailor’s nightmare and a collection of mismatched buttons that clinked with every jerky movement. Their hair, a shocking shade of electric blue, seemed to defy gravity, standing in a wild halo around their head.
“Oh, dear, oh dear, oh dear!” the figure chirped, their voice a rapid-fire staccato. “A bit more… effervescent than anticipated, wasn't it?”
