Chapter 4
Bonds Forged in Fire
Amidst his travels, Zion discovers the warmth of true friendship. He forms deep connections with unlikely allies, sharing laughter and support, finding strength in unity as they face the world together.
The scent of pine needles and damp earth filled Zion’s lungs, a welcome change from the dust of the road. He’d been walking for days, the memory of the last hurried town a hazy blur. He’d been wrestling a rather stubborn boar, his grunts and curses echoing through the trees. Zion, with his quiet nature, had been content to watch, but Elara, with a knowing smile, had stepped forward.
“A bit of trouble, friend?” she’d called out, her voice a gentle ripple in the forest’s symphony.
