The chair looms, a giant, strange machine, With leather cool and silver sheen. It tilts me back, a dizzying flight, Into the dentist's world of light.

My tiny hands, they grip so tight, My tummy flutters, filled with fright. That whirring sound, a buzzing bee, Is coming closer, just for me.

The little mirror, sharp and small, Peeks in my mouth, beyond the wall Of pearly whites, so neat and clean, But oh, the places it has seen!
