But wait, a flicker, quick and sly, A shadow darting, passing by. A flash of fur, a playful leap, While Sugar’s slumber, secrets keep. This other one, a whirlwind spun, Is Spice, whose mischief has begun! With paws that pounce and claws that prick, She’ll chase a string, a magic trick.

One moment Sugar, soft and sweet, A cozy warmth for tiny feet. The next, young Spice, a furry streak, A playful nip upon your cheek! They tumble, wrestle, chase and bound, A symphony of kitten sound. Then, side-by-side, they’ll softly sigh, As sleepy eyelids start to lie.
