Chapter 4
The Wise Professor Owl
Nishane seeks out Professor Owl, known for his keen eyes and quiet wisdom. He hopes the owl can offer more clues about the wilting flower and its needs.

A moment of silence hung in the air, broken only by the rustle of leaves. Then, from the shadowy depths of the hollow, a soft hoot echoed, followed by a slow, deliberate blinking of those wise, amber eyes. Professor Owl’s head, adorned with feathery tufts that looked like tiny eyebrows, emerged. He regarded Nishane with a gaze that seemed to see right into his thoughts.
