The sun beat down on the dusty clearing, but the young men and women of Ndian didn't seem to mind. Their faces, smudged with a mixture of sweat and earth, were alight with a purpose that had been missing for too long. This was the HIMO site, the beating heart of Larich Ventures’ most ambitious project: transforming idle hands into nation-building tools.
“Alright, my champions!” Ituka Dacobel Ojoh’s voice boomed, a cheerful sound that cut through the rhythmic clang of shovels and the gentle murmur of instruction. He stood near a half-mixed pile of concrete, his presence radiating a calm confidence that settled over the bustling scene. He’d traded his crisp shirt for a sturdy work vest, and his medals, usually tucked away, were now gleaming symbols against the rough fabric. “Today, we are not just mixing cement. We are mixing dreams! We are mixing futures!”
A ripple of laughter went through the group. They called him ‘Boss’ with a reverence that was more than just respect for his title; it was a deep-seated appreciation for the opportunities he had brought to their forgotten corners of Cameroon.
