Chapter 4: Elites Snooze, Youth Zoom!

The grown-ups, the ones with the fancy titles and the important-looking papers, were having a very important meeting. It was the kind of meeting where people nodded a lot, sipped tiny cups of coffee, and talked about things that sounded like important-but-boring words. They talked about budgets and plans and committees, but mostly, they talked about how *difficult* things were. “The roads are too bad,” one would sigh, adjusting his spectacles. “The money is too little,” another would lament, tapping a pen on a thick file. “The people don’t trust us,” a third would grumble, rubbing his chin. They were so busy talking about problems that they didn’t see the solutions hiding right under their noses, or more accurately, right beside their expensive shoes.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ituka Dacobel Ojoh, the man with the two shiny medals and a heart as big as a watermelon, was doing something quite different. He wasn’t in the stuffy meeting room. Oh no. He was out there, where the real work happened. He was in the dusty fields, near the half-finished buildings, and most importantly, he was watching the young people.
