The instructor, a woman with kohl-rimmed eyes and jangling jewelry, had been impressed by Sophia's natural grace and quick learning.
As the months passed, Sophia found herself becoming more and more enamored with the art form. She practiced religiously, perfecting her hip drops, shimmies, and undulations. The dance not only improved her physical fitness but also boosted her confidence in ways she hadn't anticipated.
