Chapter 11
A Legacy Passed On
The Shadow Beast is defeated, but the cost is high. The white wolf imparts his final wisdom and legacy to Luna, entrusting her with the future of the Northern Kingdom.

Then, she felt it. A gentle pressure against her side, warm and steady. She turned her head, her heart leaping into her throat. The White Wolf stood there, his magnificent coat shimmering even in the dim light, his eyes, pools of ancient wisdom and profound love, fixed on her. He was injured, she realized with a pang of fear. A deep gash marred his shoulder, and his breath came in shallow puffs.
