Encore: The Hunt Continues

The stage lights felt warmer now, more familiar. Not just the blinding glare of a thousand cameras, but the gentle glow of accomplishment, of a battle won. The roar of the crowd, usually a tempest of adoration, now held a different sort of energy – a grateful hum, a shared exhale after the storm. We’d done it.
