Mira witnesses Rumi's unconventional but effective methods. Faced with a dangerous situation, she must decide whether to trust Rumi and Jaehyun or stick to her rigid training.
The air in the abandoned warehouse crackled, not with the usual dust motes dancing in slivers of moonlight, but with something far more sinister. It was a cold, creeping dread that seeped into your bones, the kind you felt before a major comeback stage, only amplified a thousandfold. Jaehyun, bless his perfectly coiffed head, was doing his best to radiate calm, his gaze steady as he scanned the shadows. But even his aura, usually a beacon of pure, unadulterated sunshine, seemed a little dimmer tonight.
"Are you sure this is it, Jaehyun?" I whispered, my voice barely a breath. My heart was doing a frantic dance solo against my ribs, a rhythm far more chaotic than any choreography we’d practiced.
He nodded, his eyes flicking to a particularly dark corner where the shadows seemed to writhe with a life of their own. "The energy signature is strongest here. The Shadow Demon's influence is palpable. It’s trying to corrupt the artifact, twist its power for its own nefarious purposes."
