Chapter 4
Letting Go, Letting God
Embracing the principle of 'letting go and letting God,' Tamesha begins to trust the divine flow. She starts noticing small miracles and blessings in her daily life, guided by faith.
The air in Tamesha’s small kitchen was thick with the scent of brewing chamomile tea, a ritual she’d clung to through many a restless night. The morning sun, usually a cheerful visitor, seemed hesitant today, peeking through the blinds in soft, diffused rays. Tamesha traced the rim of her mug, the warmth seeping into her fingertips, a small comfort against the persistent chill that had settled deep within her bones. It had been weeks since the last flicker of that profound peace, the one that had promised her an open door to the divine, a direct line to the blessings she knew existed. Now, the door felt bolted, the line static-filled.
Her prayers, once a vibrant conversation, had become a hesitant plea, a murmur in the quiet of her own mind. She’d been trying to force it, to *will* the connection back, to wrestle it into submission with sheer effort. But the harder she tried, the more elusive it became. It felt like holding onto water; the tighter her grip, the faster it slipped through her fingers.
“Lord,” she whispered, the word catching in her throat. “I’m trying. I really am. But… I don’t know how to just *be* anymore. How do I let go when everything feels like it’s slipping away?”
