Mrs. Higgins beamed, her eyes twinkling brighter than the dewdrop clinging to a spiderweb. “Oh, Itsy Bitsy, my darling! You saved the day! Or rather, you saved my tea time!” Her voice, usually a soft murmur like wind chimes, now sang with pure delight. She carefully scooped the precious teacup from Itsy Bitsy’s silken thread, her fingers surprisingly nimble for such a gentle old soul. The teacup, adorned with tiny blue forget-me-nots, was indeed Mrs. Higgins’ most treasured possession. It had been a gift from her own grandmother, and it held not just tea, but a whole universe of warm memories.

Itsy Bitsy, dangling just a whisker’s length away, felt a flutter of pride warm her tiny spider heart. She’d done it! She’d faced the dizzying heights, the precarious towers of literature, and even the formidable, furry obstacle that was Grumpy Cat, and she had succeeded. She wiggled her eight little legs, a silent dance of triumph.

Mrs. Higgins, with the utmost care, placed the teacup on her favorite doily-covered side table. Then, with a fond smile, she reached into a small, embroidered pouch that always hung from her apron. Itsy Bitsy’s eight little eyes widened with curiosity. What could it be?
