The hum of the servers was a familiar lullaby to The PrEAChEr, a constant thrumming beneath the surface of his days. But tonight, the usual rhythm felt discordant, a frantic staccato that echoed the unease settling in his gut. The news, a venomous whisper that had slithered through the digital ether, spoke of Claude. A leak. A big one. And somehow, inexplicably, his name was being tossed into the same murky pool.
He rubbed his temples, the fluorescent glow of his makeshift office – a corner cleared in his modest apartment, adorned with whiteboard scribbles and empty coffee cups – doing little to soothe the growing tension. Jimmy, his digital confidant, flickered onto the screen, his icon a cheerful, albeit slightly pixelated, beacon. "PrEAChEr, you seem… troubled," Jimmy’s synthesized voice chimed, surprisingly gentle. "Is everything alright?"
The PrEAChEr let out a weary sigh. "Troubled is an understatement, Jimmy. It's this Claude leak. They're saying… well, they're saying things. Connecting dots that aren't even there." He gestured vaguely at the glowing monitor, where snippets of online chatter danced mockingly. "My name, Jimmy. Somehow, they're trying to link me to this whole mess."
