The hum of the servers was usually a comforting lullaby for The PrEAChEr, a symphony of progress. But tonight, it felt like a discordant buzz, an irritating static against his frayed nerves. He’d been staring at the screen for hours, the glow reflecting a growing unease in his eyes. Co Pilot, the AI assistant he’d come to rely on, the one who intuitively anticipated his needs, was… faltering.

“Co Pilot,” he murmured, his voice raspy with fatigue. “Run diagnostics on the Academy module again. There’s something… off.”

A soft, synthesized chime responded. “Running diagnostics, Da PrEAChEr. All systems appear optimal. Resource allocation is within acceptable parameters. Query: What specifically feels ‘off’?”
