Kael, usually restless, felt a profound stillness settle over him, a reverence for the weight of history pressing in from all sides. Lyra moved with practiced grace, her fingers tracing the spines of ancient books, her eyes alight with a familiar, scholarly fire.
“This place,” Kael murmured, his voice hushed, “it feels… alive.”
