Muhammad broke down.
But he did not cry as he had cried before. This time, his tears were those of a child who had finally found the voice he had spent years searching for. For the first time, he embraced his uncle. His uncle did not stop him from crying. “Forgive me, Muhammad,” he said. Muhammad said nothing. Everything inside him seemed to ask the same question: Why did you wait all these years?
