The Seeker sat by the window, tracing the condensation with a fingertip, each hesitant line a question mark against the pane. Outside, the world churned, a tempest of unanswered prayers and gnawing anxieties. The rain, a relentless drummer, beat a rhythm of despair against the glass, mirroring the disquiet in their soul. It was the feeling of utter aloneness, a chilling isolation that even the presence of others couldn't penetrate.
