Leo surveyed his neighborhood with a determined glint in his eye. The dream bike, a magnificent, sky-blue marvel with chrome handlebars that winked in the sun, was still firmly lodged in his mind. His pockets, however, remained stubbornly light. The lemonade stand had been a fizzle, a sticky, sweet failure. Operation: Coin Collection had yielded a grand total of three pennies and a button that looked suspiciously like a tiny, flat mushroom. He needed a new plan, a *hustle* that would really bring home the bacon… or, more accurately, the bike-buying cash.

He sat on his front stoop, chin in his hands, watching the world go by. Kids zoomed past on scooters, their parents trailed behind with shopping bags, and then, there they were. A parade of pooches, trotting happily beside their owners. Dogs! Everyone loved dogs, right? And what was more important than a happy, well-exercised dog? Nothing, probably. Leo’s mind raced. Dog-walking! It was perfect. He’d be helping people, getting fresh air, and most importantly, earning money.

He sprang up, a grin spreading across his face. He’d advertise! With a stub of a pencil and a crumpled piece of paper, he scribbled: "Leo's Super Dog Walking Service! Your Pup's Best Friend! Reasonable Rates!" He tacked these up on lampposts and community bulletin boards, feeling a surge of professional pride. He even practiced his dog-walking stance in the mirror, a confident stride and a reassuring smile.
