Chapter 43
The three kids who made a solemn oath to become the Ultimate hero
SuperSeven thanked Billy, Betty and Marianne for fighting off those terrorists. He spotted a tablet, encased with calcium carbonate stones. There were only 6 out of 10 calcium carbonate stones in the tablet. SuperSeven couldn't do anything to them, nor touch them at all. He then thought about his former friend SuperSix(Joshua Seville),who was a victim of the Eidish City massacre. SuperSeven took them back to Argentina. SuperSeven then got proud of how the heroes were able to handle the invasion and apologized to them that he wasn't around when this invasion occured. SuperSeven told them all about how dangerous the Midnight Eves and informed them that this is only the beginning of something truly sinister. Everybody went back home, and Ryder was sent to the nearest hospital in Buenos Aires. Betty,Lisa and Billy reminisced about their promise to become the Ultimate hero and they told each other that their competition is far from over. Since Billy and Betty have seen SuperSeven in action, they understand how strong it is and how hard it will be to surpass him. Lisa already understands how powerful SuperSeven, that's why she wants to surpass him and become the Ultimate hero. The siblings and Lisa Parkers told themselves that they'll compete against each other for the position of the Ultimate hero, then Billy and Lisa separated from Betty and went back home. Marianne, having watched the promise, laughed at herself and began to wonder if those three will become great heroes. SuperSeven, having also watched the promise, laughed and couldn't wait for that day to come, the day they surpass him. He then fixed the city of Buenos Aires so that the people can live normally again, then he vanished back into his home. The Hero Power The Awakening story continues.
The humid air of Bali, thick with the scent of frangipani and salt, clung to Billy like a second skin. He was still encased in Blackjack’s suffocating jelly, a prisoner of her amorphous, shifting prison. Beside him, Betty, her devilish horns momentarily receded, and Marianne, her M scar faintly glowing, watched with a mixture of horror and determination. The four Midnight Eves members, their faces contorted with an alien, forbidden power, advanced. Then, a shimmering wave rippled through the air, and time itself seemed to halt. SuperSeven, the epitome of heroic grace, stood before them, his presence radiating an aura of calm authority. With a mere touch, he unraveled the dark magic, erasing the Midnight Eves from existence. But before he could deal with Blackjack, Darkdrake, and Tidalthree, Dennis Longshun materialized, his serene smile a stark contrast to the chaos he wrought. He introduced himself, his peaceful demeanor disarming SuperSeven, who, for reasons unknown, allowed him to escape with his remaining subordinates. Billy, though freed, swore vengeance on Dennis for the devastation of Buenos Aires and Ryder Linct. Dennis merely smiled, an enigmatic figure disappearing into the tropical haze.
Back in Argentina, SuperSeven, now in his element, surveyed the damage. He thanked Billy, Betty, and Marianne for their courage, his gaze falling upon a tablet embedded with six of the ten elusive calcium carbonate stones. He couldn’t touch them, couldn’t understand their purpose, but he remembered his old friend, Joshua Seville, a victim of the Eidish City massacre. He transported them back to Buenos Aires, a city slowly returning to its former glory under his watchful gaze. He apologized for his absence during the invasion, his voice resonating with a profound regret. The Midnight Eves, he warned, were merely the vanguard of something far more sinister. As heroes dispersed, Ryder, still gravely injured, was rushed to the hospital. Billy, Betty, and Lisa, reunited, felt the weight of their shared oath. The competition for Ultimate Hero, once a childhood dream, now felt like a distant, formidable peak, especially after witnessing SuperSeven’s power firsthand. Yet, the fire in their eyes remained, a silent promise to each other, and to themselves. Marianne, observing their renewed resolve, chuckled, a hint of melancholy in her eyes, wondering if these three would truly reach the heights they aspired to. SuperSeven, too, watched them go, a knowing smile playing on his lips, eager for the day they would surpass him. He then turned his attention to the damaged city, his powers weaving a tapestry of restoration, before vanishing into the vastness of the sky. The Hero Power The Awakening continued, the legend of the three destined rivals just beginning to unfold.
