Chapter 22

The Kidnapping

Meanwhile, Brandon Sanders visited Barbara and spotted the Yellow Disk already here, and Betty on her first mission. Brandon apologized for the intrusion but Betty told him to stay. Colt Brussels stayed quiet this entire time. Then, the lights went out for two minutes, then they came back again. They noticed that Colt and Barbara have been kidnapped. They left behind a ransom note of $200 000. Kastor found it weird. How could the gangsters know that Barbara's daughter is a superhero, and why would they kidnap Colt along with Barbara? There were just too much questions. Then, Betty angrily stormed off to find Barbara. Kastor tried to stop her, but Brandon told him that it's not worth it,they just have to follow her instead.
