But lately, the silence had begun to hum with a different kind of energy, a low thrum of discontent that vibrated beneath the polished obsidian floor. Lilith had been the first to notice, her serpentine eyes, ever-watchful, catching the subtle shifts in the court’s demeanor. She’d brought it to me with her usual veiled amusement, a silken threat woven into her words. "My Lord," she’d purred, her voice like poisoned honey, "the winds of Hell carry strange tales. Tales of a certain… preoccupation. A deviation from the established order."
