The air, if it could be called air, felt thin and charged, prickling my skin with an energy I couldn't name. The symbols, etched into the obsidian-like floor of this place, pulsed with a faint, internal light. They were everywhere, a silent, alien language that seemed to writhe just beyond the edge of my comprehension. I traced one with a trembling finger, the surface cool and unnervingly smooth. It felt less like stone and more like solidified thought. The silence, too, was a physical presence, a heavy blanket that muffled even the sound of my own ragged breathing.

I remembered the storm, a tempest of light and sound that had ripped through me, and then… nothing. Until this. This stark, geometric void where reality felt like a fragile veneer stretched over something vast and unknowable. The Weaver had been here, of course. Her words, like scattered shards of glass, still echoed in the hollow spaces of my mind. *Heaven, Hell, Earth. All are but threads, woven into a single tapestry.* A tapestry. I looked around, the stark lines and sharp angles of the chamber forming a disorienting pattern. Was this the loom?

A tremor ran through the floor, not violent, but deep, as if the very foundations of this place were shifting. The symbols flared, their light intensifying, casting long, distorted shadows that danced like phantoms. I flinched, my heart hammering against my ribs. The Weaver had spoken of the Architect, of a system, of rules. Were these tremors a sign of the system’s instability, or merely its routine adjustments? I was a pawn in a game I didn’t understand, a game played on a board I couldn’t even map.
