Kindling the Fury
Finn's temper flares, creating friction with Kai. His aggressive approach is effective but dangerous, hinting at a buried fear of losing control.
Finn’s hands clenched, knuckles white, as he watched Kai effortlessly deflect a barrage of shimmering projectiles with a flick of his wrist. The air around Kai crackled, a playful dance of wind that seemed to mock Finn’s own raw, untamed power. Fury, hot and immediate, coiled in Finn’s gut, a familiar, unwelcome guest.
“Showboat,” Finn growled, the word a low rumble that vibrated in his chest. He stepped forward, his boots crunching on the scorched earth of the training arena. The air around him shimmered with heat, the very atmosphere seeming to recoil from his rising temper.
Kai turned, a smirk playing on his lips. “Just keeping things interesting, O’Connell. Unlike some, I don’t need to burn down the whole forest to make a point.” His words, light as the breeze, stung more than any physical blow.
