Chapter 17
A New Foundation
Christopher starts building his legitimate business. It's a struggle, facing skepticism and the ghosts of his past. Felicia's support is crucial as he navigates this unfamiliar territory.

Lotta paperwork, lotta folks lookin’ to poke holes in your dreams.”
Christopher wiped a bead of sweat from his brow with the back of his hand. The rough denim of his work shirt felt alien, a far cry from the tailored suits he’d once favored. “It’s the only hustle that matters now, Marcus.” He gestured with his chin towards the rising walls. “This is for Felicia. This is for me. A clean slate.”
