The air in the chamber hummed with an unseen energy, a palpable thrum that vibrated deep within Elara’s bones. It wasn't the familiar resonance of Eldoria's ancient stones, nor the crackling hum of the portal she’d traversed. This was something else, something sharp and alien, like the edge of a newly forged blade. She stood at the threshold of a vast, obsidian arena, its walls pulsing with faint, geometric patterns that shifted and reformed with unnerving fluidity.
