Chapter 21
Episode 21
The locker room, usually a cacophony of post-game chatter and the clatter of gear, was unusually subdued. The confetti had long since settled, and the echoes of the roaring crowd had faded into the quiet hum of the building. "You played with heart. That's all any coach can ask for." Alex simply nodded, unable to articulate the complex feelings churning within him. It wasn't just about winning; it was about how they had won, about the growth he had experienced, the person he had become.
