Chapter 9
A gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the old oak tree, its branches reaching like welcoming arms towards the sky. Elara sat beneath it, her heart aflutter with a new kind of song. It wasn't the hesitant, questioning melody of before, but a bright, clear tune brimming with joy and a quiet certainty. The warm glow she had discovered within herself, the comforting presence of El Shaddai, had bloomed into a radiant light that chased away every shadow of doubt. She remembered the whispers of her own fears, the secret worry that her questioning meant she was somehow weak. But now, she knew that seeking understanding, and finding it in the boundless love of the Almighty, was not weakness, but incredible strength.
The lessons of Jesus, the Master, resonated within her like a guiding star. He had spoken of being the 'Light of the World,' and Elara felt that same spark igniting within her own soul. It wasn't a blinding light, but a steady, warm glow, like a candle in the darkness, meant to illuminate the path for herself and for others. She looked at her hands, no longer seeing them as tools for fumbling through life, but as hands that could now reach out, to help, to comfort, to share.
