Elara’s heart hummed with a quiet joy, a melody that had taken root after the long, winding journey through shadows. It wasn't a boisterous, shouting kind of happiness, but a steady, warm glow that pulsed from within, much like the comforting presence she had discovered. She found herself looking at her friends, at the people in her village, with new eyes. She saw the flicker of uncertainty in Liam’s brow when he struggled with a difficult knot, the shy hesitation in Maya’s voice when she wanted to share a drawing but feared it wasn’t good enough. These were the places where her own doubts had once lived, and now, she understood, they were simply places waiting for a little light.

One sunny afternoon, as the children gathered by the Whispering Willow, Liam was trying to build the sturdiest fort imaginable. He’d gathered branches, but they kept slipping, and a frustrated sigh escaped him. "It's no use, Elara!" he grumbled, kicking a stray twig. "Nothing I do works today."

Elara walked over, her steps light. She remembered that feeling, the heavy blanket of "nothing works." Instead of offering him a solution, she sat beside him. "It looks like a tricky puzzle, Liam," she said softly, her voice like the rustle of leaves. "Sometimes, when things feel stuck, it helps to look at them from a different angle."
