Her friends, initially hesitant, begin to feel the warmth of Elara's faith. Her light starts to touch their lives, inspiring subtle shifts in their outlook.
Elara sat by the bubbling brook, her fingers tracing patterns in the cool, damp earth. Her friends, Leo and Maya, were nearby, their usual boisterous laughter softened into quiet murmurs. Ever since Elara had started talking about the warm glow she felt inside, about El Shaddai, the Almighty God, and how Jesus had called everyone to be the Light of the World, they had listened with a mixture of curiosity and gentle skepticism. It was like she was speaking a new language, one woven from sunshine and quiet whispers, and they were still trying to catch the melody.
Leo, ever the practical one, kicked a loose pebble into the water. "So, Elara," he began, his brow furrowed, "you're saying… this El Shaddai. He’s like… everywhere? And He loves everyone, even when… well, even when things are tough?"
Elara nodded, a soft smile playing on her lips. "Yes, Leo. He’s like the air we breathe, always there. And His love… it’s like a never-ending hug. It doesn't matter if we stumble or fall, He’s always there, ready to lift us up." She remembered the overwhelming feeling of peace that had washed over her when she first understood this, a warmth that had chased away all her earlier fears.
