The day after the industry visit, Pyrolysis Power’s floor was unusually quiet. The refinery team had left, but their questions still echoed. Now, Maya stood in front of the reactor’s interface, recalibrating the temperature sequence for the samples that would arrive soon.
Aris paced the floor, phone in hand. “Ms. Alvarez wants their first batch run as soon as possible. They’ll deliver by Thursday.”
Ben was already at his desk, spreadsheet open. “She also asked for a detailed breakdown of variable costs by feedstock type. I’m revising last quarter’s figures. Maya, I’ll need your updated utilities data. We have to show what scaling up would really cost.”
