Chapter 14
Unfolding Slowly
No rush to bloom, no race to run, open petal one by one — take my time, find my own grace, fill my space with golden face.
No rush to stretch before the sun is high,
no haste to spread my gold across the sky.
I wait my hour, let warmth seep deep inside,
then open soft, one petal at a time.
I learned that growth cannot be forced or sped —
that fragile things need care before they spread.
So I take days to loosen every fold,
let peace and courage fill what I have hold.
The world may hurry, press for quick display;
I choose the quiet, steady, gentle way.
Each layer freed reveals a brighter hue,
until my whole heart faces straight and true.
