The sun, a benevolent eye in the vast azure, warmed the scales of the newly fledged dragons. Their mother, her own wings still bearing the faint sheen of recent battles, watched them with a fierce, protective love. It was time for the next lessons, the ones that would truly forge them into the magnificent creatures they were destined to be. Father, his immense form a comforting shadow beside her, nudged her gently with his snout.
"They are ready," he rumbled, his voice a deep, resonant vibration in the air.
Mother nodded, her gaze sweeping over her brood. They were a vibrant tapestry of colors, each with a spark of their parents' formidable power already evident in their bright, intelligent eyes. The first lesson was always the most vital: the hunt. Not for sport, but for sustenance, for the survival of their kind.
