Marianne coughed, the soot clinging to her throat, her eyes watering from the stinging aftermath. Her own Fire magic, still a wild, untamed inferno within her, pulsed with a restless energy, a stark contrast to the chilling devastation around them.

Beside her, Adrian Bellamy moved with a grace that seemed to defy the ravaged landscape. His Water magic, a cool, flowing force, was a balm to the scorched earth and a sanctuary from the lingering heat. He knelt, his hands hovering just above the blackened soil, and a gentle mist rose, carrying the scent of rain and renewal.
