Milestones and Mirth

The air in the communal breakroom, usually thick with the scent of microwaved lunches and passive-aggressive sighs, hummed with a new energy. It was a Tuesday, a day that had once been synonymous with the dreaded afternoon slump, but today, Lancy, Mandy, Mary, and Mario practically vibrated with anticipation. A small, brightly colored banner, hastily taped to the coffee machine, proclaimed: "Lean & Laugh Milestones!"

Lancy, ever the ringleader of their newfound enthusiasm, bounced on the balls of her feet, her eyes sparkling brighter than the glitter she’d added to the banner. "Alright, team! Who's ready to officially celebrate our collective awesomeness?"
