The small, dimly lit room had become her sanctuary, a place where the fractured pieces of herself could begin to mend. Elara traced the worn keys of the keyboard, each note a hesitant step into a world rebuilt from melody and rhyme. Her voice, once a fragile whisper, was growing stronger, infused with a raw honesty that surprised even herself. She sang of the ache in her chest, the phantom touch of a hand no longer there, the suffocating weight of a future she’d meticulously planned, now dissolved like smoke. Something real. I can make you a star.”

Devious swept her into his orbit, a whirlwind of late-night studio sessions, flashing lights, and the intoxicating scent of possibility. He spoke of authenticity, of raw emotion, yet his eyes, sharp and calculating, seemed to see not the artist, but the commodity. He molded her songs, smoothing the rough edges, adding a sheen that felt both thrilling and subtly wrong. He pushed her, demanding more, faster, brighter. The pressure was immense, a constant hum beneath her skin, and she began to question where her voice ended and his began.
