Kind Ms. Bear sees what happened. She talks softly to Lalito, explaining how his actions, even accidental ones, can affect others. She helps him understand feelings and being careful around friends' creations.

Ms. Bear, with her warm smile and fur as soft as a cloud, noticed Lalito sitting by himself, his usually bright eyes clouded with a sadness that felt as big as his mane. He was tucked away in a corner of the classroom, his little lion shoulders slumped. She ambled over, her soft paws making barely a sound on the colorful rug. She knelt beside him, her presence a gentle hug.

"Lalito," she murmured, her voice like a lullaby. "What's troubling my little lion today?"

Lalito looked up, his lower lip trembling just a little. He pointed a paw towards the jumble of blocks on the floor, where Leo and Mia were now sadly trying to pick up the scattered pieces of their magnificent tower. "I… I broke it," he whispered, his voice thick with unshed tears. "I was so excited about the butterfly I saw outside, and I just… I bumped it."
