Around him, the crew of the Odyssey moved with a hushed reverence, their boots making soft, almost apologetic sounds on the floor that seemed to absorb all harshness.

Commander Eva Rostova, ever the pragmatist, kept a watchful eye on the structural integrity readouts, her brow furrowed. "Aris, the energy readings here are… anomalous. It's like the entire structure is resonating with something we can't quite pinpoint."

Aris nodded, his fingers tracing a line of glowing glyphs etched into a nearby pillar. "That's the echo, Eva. Or at least, the residual imprint of it. We're standing inside the source." He turned to Dr. Lena Hanson, who was meticulously scanning a section of wall with her handheld sensor. "Anything, Lena?"
