Every pink poodle, every disastrous date, every well-intentioned business venture that imploded with the grace of a popped balloon.
He’d announced this grand intention to Eleanor Vance over lukewarm tea and slightly stale biscuits, a typical Tuesday in Georgie’s perpetually slightly-off universe. Eleanor, bless her pragmatic heart, had merely raised an eyebrow, a maneuver so subtle it could have been mistaken for a twitch.
“Record it, Georgie?” she’d inquired, her voice a delicate balance of amusement and genuine concern. “As in, write it down? Or…?” She trailed off, her gaze drifting towards the overflowing recycling bin, a monument to Georgie’s paper-based endeavors.
