The air in the ancient library was thick with the scent of aged paper and forgotten secrets. Dust motes danced in the slivers of sunlight that pierced the stained-glass windows, illuminating rows upon rows of tomes that seemed to whisper tales of centuries past. It had been three days since the revelation, three days since the ground beneath Sana’s feet had fractured, revealing a chasm of deceit that threatened to swallow her and Asad whole. The carefully constructed edifice of their lives had crumbled, leaving them exposed to a storm of questions and a gnawing uncertainty.

"I still can't believe it, Asad," Sana murmured, her voice barely a breath against the oppressive silence. She ran a gloved finger along the spine of a leather-bound book, its title faded into illegibility. "My father… he was involved? Malik's claims… they felt so real, so chillingly plausible, yet they tear me apart."

Asad stood beside her, his gaze fixed on a faded tapestry depicting a forgotten battle. His usual confident posture was subtly altered, a tension coiled within him that spoke of unspoken turmoil. "I know, my love. It’s a heavy burden to carry. But we have to believe in ourselves, in what we feel. This… this labyrinth they've thrown us into, it’s designed to make us doubt everything, especially each other."
