Ahrayatan, his armor still bearing the faint, iridescent sheen of residual Semagan energies, stood before the hearth, the crackling flames doing little to warm the chill that had settled deep within him. Ahtawan, his brother, was safe, yes. The tremors of the shifting realms had subsided, and the Semagans, those cloaked architects of chaos, had vanished as abruptly as they had appeared, leaving behind only a suffocating silence and the gnawing uncertainty of their true purpose.

“They are gone,” Tamaton stated, his voice a low rumble that echoed the unspoken anxieties shared by all three. He stood by the grand arched window, his gaze fixed on the distant, mist-shrouded peaks that marked the edge of their known world.
