Chapter 7
Sunlight Restored
Grumblet releases the stored energy. The sun flares brightly, bathing Lumina in warmth. Ambassador Zorp expresses immense gratitude.
The last vestiges of Grumblet’s grumpy gloom seemed to lift, replaced by a flicker of something akin to shame. As the orb’s light intensified, it began to expand, not rapidly, but with a steady, determined surge. It flowed from Grumblet’s grasp, a river of liquid gold, and surged back towards the sky. Douglee squinted, shielding his eyes with a hand, as the orb seemed to merge with the faint, struggling star that hung above Lumina. For a moment, the star flickered, as if unsure of its newfound strength, then, with a magnificent, silent roar, it flared.
