The growing team travels to Morton Bay, a serene town with a grand pool. Here, they anticipate meeting the remaining members of Mr. Bluey's superhero ensemble.
The rumble of the car engine was a familiar, if unwelcome, thrum against Dimminzz’s scales. He kept his gaze fixed on the ribbon of asphalt unspooling before them, a charcoal grey line against the vibrant Australian landscape. Beside him, Mellidy, the polar bear, occasionally let out a soft huff, his white fur a stark contrast to the darkened interior of the modified vehicle. Anna, the unicorn, was a riot of color even in the dim light, her mane and tail shimmering with hues that shifted with every subtle movement. They were a strange procession, a dragon steeped in darkness, a bear who had shed a curse, and a unicorn whose kindness was as potent as any magic.
“Are we there yet?” Anna’s voice, usually lilting and bright, held a hint of childish impatience. It was a sound that Dimminzz was slowly growing accustomed to, a gentle counterpoint to the storm that still raged within him.
Mellidy nudged her playfully with his snout. “Patience, Anna. Morton Bay isn’t exactly around the corner. Besides,” he added, his voice a low rumble, “the sooner we get there, the sooner we meet the rest of Mr. Bluey’s crew. And who knows, maybe they’ll have snacks.”
